Created to be used for field repairs of broken or damaged wire rope. If your rope needs to be re spliced while on the job you can pass the wire rope around the wedge and pass it thru the socket creating a tight fit around the wire rope. Be sure to leave enough wire rope on the “dead end” to use the recommended three wire clamps to secure.
